I haven't test that in SU, but I guess is the same thing. Is not possible to get bouncing light from a perfect mirror. In my test a have to add some Reflection Blurry to my mirror in order to get the bouncing light.

Yeah. This is the output:
you can see there is no bounce on the southern facades..
